Introducing Vision Air, designed for everyday comfort.

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple today unveiled Vision Air, a breakthrough spatial computer that reimagines productivity, collaboration, entertainment, and creation in a light and comfortable form. Built on VisionOS, Vision Air brings powerful apps, seamless ecosystem continuity, and an all-day comfort focus to mainstream audiences. The result is a spatial computer that fits naturally into daily routines at home, on campus, at the office, and everywhere in between.

Vision Air delivers a new standard for immersive computing by balancing performance, display clarity, lightness, and modular fit. Advanced dual displays, high resolution optics, and a redesigned knit band work together to support longer sessions without fatigue, while developers unlock new workflows that expand beyond traditional multi-monitor setups.

"Spatial computing should feel natural and productive, not experimental," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO. "Vision Air is the next step toward that future. It brings immersive creation and seamless continuity to more people, more often, in a form designed for everyday comfort."

A modular strap system and soft knitted materials increase fit comfort while preserving stability. Vision Air’s weight distribution supports extended work sessions, entertainment, and long viewing durations.

Vision Air is powered by the A20 Pro chip, features dual high resolution displays, adaptive lens adjustment for sharable use, and runs all day on a single charge. At just 349 grams, it brings a balanced architecture that supports immersion without fatigue.

A Familiar Apple Experience, Reimagined

Vision Air Development
Developing for visionOS is familiar and powerful.

Users can move effortlessly between messages, documents, projects, and entertainment with VisionOS. Vision Air inherits continuity from Mac, iPhone, and iPad, enabling apps to float in an infinite canvas, anchored by a spatial environment that removes distractions and supports deep focus.

Built-in Personas, virtual desktops, and hand-eye input allow multitasking without clutter. Creative pros can sketch, edit, and review in immersive space. Students can learn and collaborate through dynamic simulations. Professionals can join meetings or whiteboard in a shared digital room.

"What excites us is seeing Vision Air become an everyday device," said Mike Rockwell, Vice President of the Technology Development Group. "Its comfort and workflow uplift are what make spatial computing useful for more people."
